* John Leguizamo, Lynn Collins (John Carter), and Jim Belushi have joined The Man from Carrion Road, the latest film from Apollo 18 director, Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego. Starring Patrick Wilson and Ian McShane, the story takes place on a Mexican border town where the new sheriff must team up with the guy he replaced to sort out the truth behind a botched drug deal.
* Helen Mirren is going to have plenty to look at while on set of Woman in Gold, her upcoming fact-based drama in which she plays Holocaust survivor Maria Altmann. Ryan Reynolds has joined the cast with Daniel Bruhl negotiating for a role in the Simon Curtis-directed film about Altmann's fight against the Austrian government to retrieve several priceless Gustav Klimt paintings stolen from her family during the war. Reynolds will play her lawyer who helped with the recovery, while Bruhl is his rival. [Deadline]
