Dave Franco Opens Up 'The Intern's Handbook'

While his big brother James is busy beefing over the sequel to a film his character died in (just let it go, dude!), Dave Franco has the #1 film in the country right now in Neighbors. He's clearly a star on the rise, and now he's got his first major headlining gig in The Intern's Handbook.

Based on Shane Kuhn's just-released book and already eyed by Sony Pictures as a potential franchise, the film has Dave Franco as John Lago, a hit man who disguises himself as an intern so he can infiltrate big companies and assassinate crooked execs. In his final and toughest assignment yet, John will do battle with Alice, a sexy FBI agent assigned to take down the same target. Of course, romantic exchanges and bullets will fly between them.

Franco's 22 Jump Street scribe Oren Uziel will adapt the screenplay. [THR]
