One aspect non-readers of
The Hunger Games books will need to prepare for in
Mockingjay Part 1 is the severe shift in focus. While the first two films centered on the actual Hunger Games death tournaments, the final two movies will be much more warlike. They will be an all-out battle between Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and the rebellion against President Snow, and now some of the new faces in that war have been introduced in new posters.
The images feature only one familiar face, that of Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, but they all invoke a similar theme of battle-readiness. We also get a look at
Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer as Cressida, Wes Chatham as Castor, Elden Henson as his brother Pollux, Mahershala Ali as Boggs, and Evan Ross as Messalla.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 1 opens November 21st.
