'True Detective' Season 2 Adds Kelly Reilly, Abigail Spencer, and Leven Rambin

With Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch, Rachel McAdams and Vince Vaughn set for the second season of HBO's True Detective, there are still a number of supporting roles left to be filled. If the first season is anything to go by, these parts could be just as juicy as the leads. Just ask Alexandra Daddario who did probably the best work of her career in a small but pivotal role. And hopefully we'll be able to say the same thing for Kelly Reilly, who has just joined the cast after previously being up for the role McAdams won.

Reilly is joining True Detective along with Abigail Spencer (This is Where I Leave You), Leven Rambin (The Hunger Games), and Michael Irby. Reilly was great earlier this year in Cavalry, and has done impressive work in Flight, Chinese Puzzle, and more. She'll be playing the "self-possessed Morgan", Irby would be partner to McAdams' character, Rambin is a drug-addicted beauty, and Spencer is the survivor of a sexual attack.

Filming on True Detective should begin early next year with Justin Lin helming the first two episodes. [Deadline]
