Chris Pratt could Saddle Up for 'Cowboy Ninja Viking'

This year has seen Chris Pratt go from scene-stealing funny guy to action hero (who is still pretty funny) in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and he'll do it again next year when he leads Jurassic World. While a Guardians of the Galaxy sequel is also on the way, Pratt may take time out for another comic book adaptation, one that has been kicking around for years.

According to Collider, Pratt will star in Cowboy Ninja Viking, based on the graphic novel by A.J. Lieberman and artist Riley Rossmo. As you can tell by the title it's an odd story, one that centers on Duncan, who is part of a secret government program to turn Multiple Personality Disorder patients into super agents. Duncan, whose personality is comprised of a cowboy, ninja, and viking, escapes the program and goes after the scientist who started it.

The project has a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland), and once had Marc Forster (World War Z) attached to direct, but that was four years ago and things changed. At this point it's unclear who, if anybody, is involved and that includes Pratt because this story has to be considered rumor for now. It's hard to believe that between his Marvel and Jurassic World commitments there'd be room for something like this, but we shall see.
