Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell will Reteam for 'Daddy's Home'

Looks like The Other Guys are getting back together again. A few months ago it was reported that Mark Wahlberg would be joining Will Ferrell for Daddy's Home, replacing Ferrell's Old School co-star, Vince Vaughn. Paramount has now officially the confirmed the duo will be reuniting on the comedy, with filming expected to begin later this year.

Directed by Sean Anders who co-wrote the script that has seen revisions from Adam McKay, Chris Henchy, John Morris, and Etan Cohen, the story has Ferrell playing a mild-mannered radio executive who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids.

Ferrell and Wahlberg are both funny guys on their own, but together they have tremendous comedic chemistry. Hopefully Daddy's Home turns out better than the synopsis would suggest.
