Ewan McGregor is Jesus in First Image from 'Last Days in the Desert'

This weekend Exodus: Gods and Kings will tell the story of Moses, one even those of us who never attended Sunday School are familiar with. But next month an untold Biblical story will be making its way to Park City and the Sundance Film Festival when Rodrigo Garcia's Last Days in the Desert premieres to what will likely be a packed house.

The first image features Ewan McGregor as Jesus during forty days of fasting and prayer in the desert. McGregor pulls double duty as the Devil, who tests Jesus with the plight of a family in crisis. Ayelet Zurer (Man of Steel), Ciaran Hinds, and Tye Sheridan co-star.

Last Days in the Desert will make its world premiere on January 25th.
