Helen Mirren Reclaims Stolen Art in Trailer for 'Woman in Gold'

It may seem like a long time ago but early this year we saw George Clooney and a team of art enthusiasts retrieve some stolen art from the Nazis. Hitler really got around when it came to stealing some of the world's finest pieces because art world drama Woman in Gold tells a similar story.

Starring Helen Mirren, Ryan Reynolds, Katie Holmes, and Daniel Bruhl, the real-life story centers on Maria Altmann, who joined with a young lawyer to reclaim priceless art the Nazis stole from her family during WWII. At the helm is Simon Curtis, who directed My Week with Marilyn a couple of years ago, but this film doesn't seem to be taking itself quite as seriously. There's a definite Philomena vibe going on here, which is probably why The Weinstein Company is so high on it.

Woman in Gold opens April 3rd.
