By the hoary hosts of Hoggoth, Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson dropped what appears to be a look at Benedict Cumberbatch as the Marvel superhero. Well, kind of. He tweeted the image yesterday along with the words "Strange but not a stranger", meaning he must be a huge Talking Heads fan. Perhaps the good Doctor will have them on his IPod in the movie?
Clearly this isn't an official look or anything, but it does show Cumberbatch with the Doctor Strange goatee, and he seems to be drifting in the cosmic reaches of space or something. He looks more like Eternity than Doctor Strange, really. Still a pretty cool shot, and it goes to show how excited Derrickson is to bring the Sorcerer Supreme's story to the screen.
Doctor Strange opens November 4th 2016.
