Here comes the deluge. David Ellis, the guy who directed the abysmal joke action flick, Snakes on a Plane
The flick is about a group of seven friends spending a week long vacation at a lake house in Louisiana. Their trip turns into a nightmare when they suddenly come under attack by hellish sharks, unheard of in freshwater lakes.
The sharks are being developed by Walter Conti, the same guy responsible for the ferocious fish in Deep Blue Sea
I hope this isn't the start of a deluge of campy horror flicks like this. Snakes on a Plane was a terrible movie by any measure. Even those of us who hoped it'd be a fun, self aware flick were disappointed. Piranha 3D worked, but I'm betting it was the exception and not the norm.
