Roele Reine, Luke Goss returning for Death Race 3

It's rarely the case that the sequel is actually better than the original, but in the case of Death Race 2 that is definitely the case. The film was basically an origin story pre dating the bloody 2008 story starring Jason Statham. Death Race 2 featured a new actor under the Frankenstein mask, Luke Goss, and he surprisingly brought the same level of stoic intensity that Statham typically does. Last June we learned that Paul W.S. Anderson was ratcheting up a Death Race 3, which he would likely produce. And now we've learned that two of the sequel's key cogs will be returning as well.

Shocktilyoudrop states that director Roele Reine will be back back behind the camera, in a story that takes the brutal Death Race competition to the deserts of Mexico. Luke Goss has also now been confirmed to return as well. Danny Trejo(Machete) and Tanit Phoenix had previously been set to return.

Shooting begins this November in South Africa.
