Adam Sandler earns a record breaking 11 Razzie nominations!

This might surprise you on the night where Hollywood is honoring 2011's best movies at the Academy Awards, but Adam Sandler has more nominations than anybody with a shocking total of eleven! Unfortunately for him they're all Razzie nominations, given to the worst achievements in film. The nominees for the 32nd Annual Razzies were announced earlier today, and frankly they might as well change the name to the Raspberry Sandlers.

Sandler had an abysmal 2011, and the Razzies saw fit to (dis)honor him for that. He earned the dreaded double nomination for Worst Actor, for his dual role in Jack & Jill and also for the terrible rom-com, Just Go With It. But along with that, Sandler served as producer for Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star which earned six nominations by itself.  For Sandler, his eleven nominations breaks the record held by Eddie Murphy for Norbit. Now there's a distinction for ya.

As usual, The Razzies also took the easy way in some categories, nominating well-known, easy to bash flicks that aren't as bad as they want them to be. Transformers: Dark of the Moon was nominated seven times, and so was The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn pt. 1. Ok, that one deserved everything it got. On the other hand, they got one absolutely right by nominating Sarah Palin for Worst Actress for playing....herself. Gotta love that. Below are the full list of nominees, with the winners to be announced on April 1st....
