'Snabba Cash' star Fares Fares joins Kathryn Bigelow's untitled Osama Bin Laden film

In the same way that the entire cast of Bridesmaids has benefited from being a part of that film, Snabba Cash alums appear to be reaping the rewards from participating in that Swedish crime thriller. It's star, Joel Kinnaman, was recently offered the lead in Robocop. And Daniel Espinosa, the film's director, has scored the biggest hit of his career with Safe House. Now another appears to be making some big inroads into Hollywood stardom.

The uniquely named Fares Fares has joined the cast of Kathryn Bigelow's still untitled Osama Bind Laden film. Formerly known as Kill Bin Laden, the story will follow the military's attempts to capture the terrorist leader. Boal is teaming up with Mark Boal, her screenwriter for The Hurt Locker, in a film that has already got some members of Congress waving their puny fists in anger over supposed information leaks. Filming is set to begin next month, with Fares joining a phenomenal cast including Jessica Chastain, Joel and Nash Edgerton, Kyle Chandler, Jason Clarke, Edgar Ramirez, Mark Strong, Chris Pratt, Jennifer Ehle, and Harold Parrineau. Kill Bin Laden, or whatever it ends up being called, will open on December 19th.
