New clip from Pixar's Academy Award nominated short film, 'La Luna'


As much as Pixar is justifiably praised for being this generations great storytellers in field of full length animation, that talent has also been changing the way we look at short films. Walt Disney Pictures has released the second clip from the wondrous La Luna, the short that will be proceeding Pixar's fairy tale, Brave, due out on June 22nd.

Already nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Animated Short Film category, the story follows a wide eyed young boy who goes off in a boat for the first time with his father and grandpa, to experience their unusual line of work. The animation is simply gorgeous, and there's a very clear anime influence on the character design. You can check out the new clip below, followed by the first one that debuted last year....
