Warner Brothers has upped the ante in a major way with Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to 2010's critically reviled Clash of the Titans which was marred by some terrible post-conversion 3D. Now with Jonathan Liebesman(Battle: Los Angeles) at the helm, and Sam Worthington back on the winged horse as Perseus, the film looks bigger and marked better than before.
This time around, Perseus will team up with Andromeda(Rosamund Pike), the woman he saved from the Kraken years earlier, to save Zeus(Liam Neeson) and the world from the onslaught of the Titans, released from their prison when the gods' powers begin to fade. There's not a lot of new footage in the latest trailer, but we do get to see a bit more of Pike's character, and Worthington wielding what looks like Zeus' iconic lightning bolt. Somebody's about to get lit up, and it's probably that massive cyclops.
Ralph Fiennes, Danny Huston, Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell, and Edgar Ramirez co-star. Wrath of the Titans will storm theaters on March 30th. Check out the new trailer below....[Yahoo!]
