'The Expendables 3' will have to go on without Chuck Norris

Remember back in January when there was that whole thing about what The Expendables 2 would be rated? For awhile there it looked like we'd have been forced to endure a lame ass PG-13 rating, and the guy who was pushing for that was Chuck Norris. Why? He said at the time that he didn't want to be a part of a film with such "vulgar language", and for awhile the studio gave in to his demands before finally smartening up and giving us the blood-soaked, obscenity-laced romp we all wanted.

With attention turning towards The Expendables 3, which apparently already has Nicolas Cage on board, Norris spoke to Access Hollywood(via ThePlaylist) and revealed that he wouldn't be coming back for another mission....

Norris: "Nope. Just number 2. This is it for me. Oh, yeah. This is very special."

He went on to talk about how much fun he had shooting the film with his fellow action hero icons, and by all accounts he got along with everybody on set. It may just be that he was willing to set aside his personal beliefs just this once for such a unique opportunity, but a second time would be stretching it. Plus, dude is ancient even by The Expendables standards, so he may see this is a perfect way to wave goodbye to his legendary career.
