Samuel L. Jackson and Dominic Cooper to star in 'Reasonable Doubt'

Samuel L. Jackson and Dominic Cooper are both key pieces to Marvel's cinematic universe, respectively as super spy Nick Fury and Iron Man's daddy Howard Stark. Both appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger, although they never had a chance to share the screen together, but that's a situation which will be rectified soon, as Variety reports they will star together in Peter Howitt's indie drama, Reasonable Doubt.

Formerly titled The Good Samaritan, the film follows "an up-and-coming assistant D.A. prosecuting a fatal hit-and-run case with inconclusive evidence. Following the trial, the assistant D.A finds himself struggling to hunt the man he got acquitted." The script was written by Peter Dowling(Flightplan). Howitt made a splash with his first film, the parallel universe flick, Sliding Doors, and he's never really lived up to that promise. He also directed the terrible Rowan Atkinson film, Johnny English, and Laws of Attraction with Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore.

Filming begins next month, and we'll probably see this during next year's festival circuit.
