Warner Bros. isn't resting on their laurels in making sure everyone knows Baz Luhrmann's extravagant, hip-hop infused adaptation of The Great Gatsby is right around the corner. Within the last week they've released eight individual posters and alternate cut of the trailer. But they are far from finished as today sees them issue three more one-sheets and a U.K. trailer with bits of additional footage.
Two of the images show off the Art Deco motif we've seen previously, while also highlighting the two adulterous affairs at the heart of the story. Tobey Maguire and newcomer Elizabeth Debecki party down in the third poster, which much like the trailer shows off how much of a glamorous spectacle this film is expected to be. Still, I think the marketing team may have become a tad too close with the themes of excess. No more posters for awhile, okay? We get it. The cast is gorgeous.
Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher, and Jason Clarke, The Great Gatsby hits theaters in 3D on May 10th.
