Sure Shots: Kevin Costner; Olga Kurylenko; Sam Worthington

* Kevin Costner, who is currently filming the football comedy Draft Day, is set to reteam with his The Upside of Anger director, Mike Binder. He'll produce and star in Black and White, an indie drama about a couple caring for their biracial granddaughter after own daughter is killed. When his wife also dies, Costner's character finds himself at odds with the child's other grandfather, who seeks sole custody. Filming is set to begin this summer. [Deadline]

* Olga Kurylenko can currently be seen starring in Oblivion alongside Tom Cruise, and prancing around in Terrence Malick's To the Wonder, but she's already lining up her next gig. She's joining the cast of Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters, Mark Waters' adaptation of Richelle Mead's six-issue YA series. She'll sink her teeth into the role of Kirova, the headmistress of a special school for vampires. Zoey Deutch and Lucy Fry will take on the lead characters of Rose and Lissa, a guardian and her vampire best friend who share a special bond.

*Just a few days after Brit Marling replaced Olivia Wilde in The Keeping Room, the casting continues as Sam Worthington is the latest to join her and the previously announced Nicole Beharie and Hailee Steinfeld. Directed by Daniel Barber (Harry Brown), the film follows a pair of Southern sisters and their African-American slave who, in the dying days of the Civil War, must defend their home against a group of soldiers broken off from the invading Union army.
