Michael Caine will go 'Interstellar' with Christopher Nolan

Long before we ever knew Christopher Nolan would be directing sci-fi film Interstellar, Michael Caine was already teasing his involvement in it. Last summer while doing press for The Dark Knight Rises, he said this....

Caine: "He's got to go on, he's got some other idea, and I'm in it! I've been in everything he's done since he's been in Hollywood. We're each others' good luck charms".

It wasn't really a surprise, as Caine has been in every Nolan film since 2005's Batman Begins. But as casting has begun, with Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Jessica Chastain coming aboard, Caine had yet to be confirmed until now. According to Deadline, Caine will join the ambitious project, which is based on theories conceived by a theoretical physicist and involves a team of explores who travel through a wormhole. The long-developing script by Jonathan Nolan has been tweaked by Chris with some of his own ideas.

So no shock here. Caine will be seen later this month in the illusionist heist thriller, Now You See Me. Interstellar goes into warp drive on November 7th 2014.
