A Sinister Tease in New 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' Photos

At this point, Marc Webb better have plans to include the Sinister Six in his The Amazing Spider-Man franchise or fans are likely to riot. Ever since the very first rumors emerged that the villain team could be making Spidey's life miserable, speculation has run rampant about who might be in it. And to Webb's credit, he's been quick to play along, talking about it on numerous occasions, and now giving the film's eager followers one heck of a tease.

A new batch of stills for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have been released, and mostly it's focused pretty heavily on the bad guys, including Paul Giamatti's Rhino, Dane DeHaan's Harry Osborn, and Jamie Foxx's Electro. And it all seems to be leading to the final image that bluntly teases the Sinister Six. Ok, Stan Lee appears in there as well but I can't be the only one who thinks there's something evil lurking behind that smile?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens on May 2nd 2014.
