Early Look at the 'Fast & Furious 7' Teaser Poster

James Wan may be known for crafting some of the most successful horror movies in recent memory, but he's branching out into blockbuster territory with Fast & Furious 7. And while it may not seem like the most obvious fit, Wan has wasted no time in getting the ball rolling, adding UFC women's champ Ronda Rousey to the cast, and revealing that his vision for the film is that of a gritty 1970s revenge thriller.

It's expected that most of the surviving cast will return, and now Wan has dropped an image of him and Tyrese Gibson, back as the mouthy Roman Pearce. The image not only shows Wan with Gibson after a production meeting, but in the background is an early poster for the film, which resembles some of the promos for Fast & Furious 6. Everything seems to be moving very quickly on the production, so don't be surprised if the teaser posters start rolling out before too long.

Picking up where the last film left off, and sort of following the events of 'Tokyo Drift', Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew are taking the action back home to Los Angeles where they'll take on a bad guy played by Jason Statham, bent on vengeance for his brother's death.  Fast & Furious 7 opens on July 11th 2014.
