'The Lunchbox,' starring Irrfan Khan, releases trailer and first clip

I'm pretty sure that if you don't like Irrfan Khan, you're probably the devil. I mean, honestly. Who can look at that wonderful actor's expressive face, his subtle emotions, and NOT want him to adopt you? I've had this fascination about him since The Namesake, through Life of Pi, and now to The Lunchbox, the feature film debut from director Ritesh Batra that stars Khan.

The Lunchbox uses India's lunch-delivery service - in which messengers pick up lunches from wives at home and deliver them to their husbands at work - to connect two characters, an unhappy wife played by Nimrat Kaur and a stranger to her, played by Khan. Kaur hopes to grow closer to her husband by painstakingly working on elaborate lunches, but when they end up delivered to Khan instead, they start exchanging notes that not only impact Kaur's impression of her husband but soothe Khan's cynicism and disdain for people, too.

OK, so it sounds a little romantic-drama-ish. But this seems very touching, too, and I can see The Lunchbox turning into a very nice first-date movie. Sure, it's in Hindu. But you can read, can't you? Watch the trailer and first clip below and try to tell me the line "Sometimes the wrong train will get you to the right station" doesn't stick with you. TRY TO TELL ME THAT. And you will be lying.
