Hellish Trailer and Poster for Found Footage Thriller 'As Above, So Below'

There's a chance John Erick Dowdle has a slight obsession with making movies about Hell. The Quarantine director followed that up with the M. Night Shyamalan-produced horror, Devil, in which Satan himself terrorizes people on an elevator. And in now in his latest film As Above, So Below he posits that the gate to Hell may be sitting beneath the streets of London. I would have predicted Detroit. 

The first trailer and poster for the film has been released, and other than the distracting found footage approach it looks like a decently scary thriller. Ben Feldman, Perdita Weeks, and Edwin Hodge play archaeology students who discover the uncharted catacombs beneath Paris and venture into them, despite it being littered with the bones of countless victims.

As Above, So Below will open on August 15th.
