Rumor: Jason Momoa Has Joined 'Batman vs. Superman' Cast

Rumors have been swirling around Jason Momoa's involvement in Batman vs. Superman since last year, yet  the only hard word on it came when the actor came out and denied them. Despite his denials, the stories have persisted and now the generally reliable folks at Batman News are saying Momoa is officially on board, and has been for a couple of months.

Assuming the story's source is accurate, Momoa is joining a film that is beginning to look more and more like a Justice League movie rather than a Man of Steel sequel. And that would hold especially true if Momoa ends up in the roles of either Martian Manhunter or Aquaman as has been speculated in the past. There was also some talk of him as the villain, Doomsday. He'd be the second big addition this week after Ray Fisher came aboard in the role of Victor Stone aka Cyborg.

Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, Holly Hunter, Callan Muley, and Tao Okamoto, Batman vs. Superman opens May 6th 2016.
