'The Flash' Runs Like Lightning in New Clip and 5-Minute Trailer

CW is racing faster than Barry Allen can run to start the hype machine for The Flash, releasing a teaser trailer last night during the Arrow season finale. And now today comes not only a blazing 5-minute trailer, but the first clip from the pilot episode.

Grant Gustin dons the red and yellow suit as Allen, who appeared in a couple of Arrow episodes last season. That opens up the door for..wait for it.....CROSSOVERS (!!!) with Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen showing up to drop some familiar pearls of wisdom. Well, familiar if you watch Arrow, anyway. We also see Jesse L. Martin as Detective West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow aka Killer Frost, Candice Patton as Irish West, and Tom Cavanaugh as scientist/mentor Harrison Wells.

This looks pretty good and like the perfect companion to Arrow. The Flash will air Tuesday nights this fall.
