The Punch Drunk Podcast Episode #38: Our Top 10 Films of 2009; Avatar; Sherlock Holmes

It was our final show of 2009, and it couldn't have concluded with two bigger movies!

-The show gets off to our typical rambling start as we somehow begin professing our love for Jenna Elfman in Can't Hardly Wait. Not sure where that came from!

-We paint our skin blue, strap ouselves in and pray at the altar of James Cameron as we dive headfirst into his massive, technological masterpiece, AVATAR! Does the king of the world still have what it takes after so many years away?

- The great detective never looked cooler or solved a case like this! We unravel the clues surrounding Guy Ritchie's action mystery, SHERLOCK HOLMES!

-Snap Judgements including Broken Embraces, Me & Orson Welles, and...Stan Helsing??

-How often do you get to hear a grown man being mauled by a wild jungle cat? It happens here, and I yelp like a schoolgirl with a skinned knee. I admit it.

-What do The Punch Drunk Critics think is the best film of 2009? Is it Avatar? The Hurt Locker? Or is it something totally unexpected? Transylmania? Ok, probably not that. We give our picks for the top 10 of the year, and it might not be what you think...

We hope you'll join us for another great show, and continue to stick with us throughout the new year! You can find us on Itunes, Podomatic, or you can download the show directly here.
