Hoult cast as Beast in X-Men: First Class

Last week it was reported that Benjamin Walker, who had been cast as Hank "Beast" McCoy in X-Men: First Class, had been removed from the role due to concerns by the studio. Now comes word that the role has already been filled, and that Nicholas Hoult(About a Boy) is the guy to don the blue fur. Hoult is much closer in age to Alice Eve and Aaron Johnson, who will be playing Emma Frost and Cyclops in the film.

You'll probably remember Hoult for his turn in Hugh Grant's 2002 comedy, About a Boy. Um, dude has grown up.  He recently played the object of Colin Firth's desire in A Single Man, but also had a role in Clash of the Titans . I have no idea as who but I'm betting he was turned to stone at some point.
