Here's a clip that is meant to excite and manages to do exactly the opposite. It has been some time since we last set sail with ole Cap'n Jack, long enough, one would think, that we would be longing for his company. Clearly that's what the makers of this clip assumed. However this minute and a half diatribe by the mad Pirate lord does little more than remind us that his gimmick was already wearing thin on us through the last movie. I know we were supposed to cheer with joy when we saw one of our beloved iconic characters back on screen but to be honest all this did was remind me how forgettable and somewhat annoying this character became. That being said I'm sure their are some constituents who fully support the POC franchise and can not wait for it's next installment. To those few I say "Yo ho, Yo ho, enjoy this trailer today".
