Battleship adds Rihanna to the cast

If I was looking for a way to make the already awful sounding Battleship, based on the board game we all cheated at as kids, this would be one way to do it. Variety is reporting that R&B singer and all around controversial gal, Rihanna, will be making her feature film debut in the Peter Berg directed film. She's made numerous TV appearances as herself, and her music has been featured in movies like The Hangover and I Love You, Man. It's rumored she might have a role in the upcoming remake of The Last Dragon, but that's unconfirmed at this point.
