We got the first real trailer for Matt Reeves' Let Me In during Comic-Con last week. Like many people, I think it's a film that doesn't need to be made. Period. I think American audiences should take the time to check out the brilliant original, Let the Right One In. However, I thought the trailer was good for the most part, but perhaps trying too hard to convince people that this is a horror film. Which it's not. It's more about the relationship between a human boy and the vampire forever stuck in the form of a child.
Now the red band trailer is out, and I still feel pretty much the same way. Check it out for yourself and let us know whether or not you agree. Let Me In stars Chloe Moretz, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Richard Jenkins. It's due to be released on October 1st, 2010.
