Trailer Time: The Son of No One, starring Channing Tatum and Al Pacino

Hmm...not sure what to make of this. A couple of days ago we showed the new poster for The Son of No One, which stars every lady's favorite hunk Channing Tatum as a New York cop whos family life is threatened by the spectre of a long unsolved murder case. The film marks the third pairing of Tatum and director Dito Montiel(Fighting, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints), and initially I though the project sounded extremely promising.

Now I'm not so sure, as MTV has released the first full trailer for the film. Despite a remarkable cast(Al Pacino, Katie Holmes, Tracy Morgan, Ray Liotta, and Juliette Binoche), I couldn't shake the feeling that I was looking at an episode of NYPD Blue. Nothing really popped at me except that we see almost nothing of Tracy Morgan, which is worrying, and that the censoring of the foul language was extremely distracting.

The film is closing out Sundance this year, but currently there's no date for a theatrical release. Check out the trailer and judge for yourself!
