Sure Shots: Seth Rogen/Barbara Streisand; Fletch remake; Zach Galifianakis

* Babs Streisand must be lookin' for a way to rinse the memory of Little Fockers out of our minds, and one quick way to do that is by teaming up with one of the most popular young comedic actors working today. She'll be teaming up with Seth Rogen on a new road trip comedy titled, My Mother's Curse. She'll be the mom to Rogen's character, who embark on the journey for some mother/son bonding.  Anne Fletcher(The Proposal) is directing the flick, based on a semi-autobiographical script by Dan Fogelman(Cars).

* Considering the 10-year+ attempt by various studios to bring Fletch back to the big screen, I won't hold my breath that this will ever happen, but Warner Brothers has picked up the rights to mystery novel series which birthed the iconic dufus detective made famous by Chevy Chase back in 1985. No writers or actors are atttached at the moment. I think the time for a Fletch remake passed when Kevin Smith dropped out of the project years ago.

* While Ryan Reynolds' other big name comic book movie, Deadpool, continues to flounder, the other lesser known comics project he's working on is picking up momentum. That'd be R.I.P.D., based on the Dark Horse comic about an undead police force who patrol the supernatural beat. With Reynolds and director Robert Schwentke(Red) in tow, now they could be adding Zach Galifianakis as the other lead. The pairing of Reynolds and Galifianakis would make this a no-brainer hit.
