The title of the Spider-Man relaunch has been announced; first full costume image revealed

Columbia Pictures has announced that the official title for Marc Webb's Spider-Man will be....The Amazing Spider-Man, taking a page from the superhero's flagship comic he's been starring in since 1963.

We also get the first full costume look at Andrew Garfield's Spidey, and I hope it's enough to put a stop to all those crappy set videos we've been getting. Pretty slick, and maybe I'm crazy but I sense a teeny bit of Spider-Man 2099 in the design, especially around the hands.



The Amazing Spider-Man swings into theaters on July 3rd 2012!
