1st look at Silent Hill: Revelation 3D

Late last year it was reported that Michael J. Bassett(Solomon Kane) would be directing Silent Hill: Revelation, a 3D sequel to the mostly successful 2006 film. At the time it appeared that the film would be based largely on the Silent Hill 3 video game, rather than tying in too much to the first movie.

Davis Films has issued a press release which basically confirms the suspected plot, and also announces Adelaide Clemens(X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Kit Harington(Game of Thrones) as the leads. Filming began yesterday in Toronto, the first image from it can be seen above. Check out the film's plot below!

For years, Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
