Tarantino's Western could shoot later this year?

Briefly...

Has everybody heard the news? Quentin Tarantino's hip deep in his new flick, a spaghetti Western starring Christoph Waltz, Franco Nero, and possibly Keith Carradine and Treat Williams? No? Better catch up then. The rapid rate with which the story has exploded speaks to the way we all salivate over anything the director does, and now we've got a bit more info straight from the horse's mouth.

At the Weinstein Company post-Oscar party, Deadline managed to get a few words from Tarantino about the film. What it boils down to is that he's already completed the script and will turn it in within the next couple of months. That leaves the distinct possibility that the film could shoot later this year. How awesome is that? Deadline notes that he said the script just "flowed out of him" and was much faster than his previous scripts. It's only been a couple of years since Inglourious Basterds, and already we've got another Tarantino to become obsessed with. Usually we have to wait years!

I'm more excited about the casting for this than I am The Dark Knight Rises and Superman!
