Trailer Time: Arthur, starring Russell Brand and Helen Mirren

Forgetting for a moment that I never really saw a need to remake Arthur, I've been trying to keep optimistic because of the presence of Greta Gerwig(Greenberg), a gifted comedic actress who is clearly on the rise. Russell Brand doesn't inspire me to see this film all that much, and the trailer we've previously seen is essentially laugh-free. What pissed me off the most is that Gerwig was basically excluded from it. The initial posters ignored her. Then last week we finally got a one-sheet which showcased her, and now here's the second trailer which puts her character a bit more into focus.




Athur is directed by Jason Winer and stars Russell Brand, Jennifer Garner, Helen Mirren, Greta Gerwig, Nick Nolte, and Luis Guzman. It's set to be released on April 8th.
