Carrie-Ann Moss, Malcolm McDowell join Silent Hill: Revelation 3D

Shooting on Michael J. Bassett's Silent Hill: Revelation 3D has been in full swing for nearly a month now, but the cast keeps expanding. So far we've got newcomers Adelaide Clemens(X-men Origins: Wolverine) and Kit Harington into the mix, along with some key members of the original cast returning, like Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, and Deborah Kara Unger. But since we already know that the plot is being based largely on the Silent Hill 3 video game, there are a couple of integral characters that needed to be filled.

And so it is that Davis Films have issued a press release announcing the additions of Carrie-Ann Moss(The Matrix) and Malcolm McDowell(A Clockwork Orange) have joined the cast. Moss will be Claudia Wolf, a cultist who in the video game plots to bring about a paradise on Earth. McDowell will be her abusive father, Leonard.

Moss can do dark and deranged really well, while McDowell is just a natural bad guy.  For whatever reason I am very looking forward to seeing how this film shakes out. I thought Silent Hill was a better than average horror that was actually superior to the video game.

There's also a brand new still from the film, featuring the two young stars, Clemens and Harington. Always snowing in the sleepy town of Silent Hill.
