Variety reports that Perry will write/direct/produce Good Deeds, with plans for filming to begin later this month. Perry will star in the lead role as Glen Deeds, a successful "entrepeneur who's about to get married when he becomes enamored with a down-on-her-luck single mom."
Sounds like yet another perfect Perry vehicle. He'll be able to do that class warfare thing he loves to do(poorly) in all of his movies. No word on any other casting yet, but expect news on that soon. For one thing he's yet to cast the guy who'll be the "angry black male" stereotype.
Later this month, Perry's sixth Madea feature film is due to open in theaters. Madea's Big Happy Family will star Bow Wow, Lauren London(Next Day Air
