Lindsay Lohan to play Sharon Tate in Eyes of a Dreamer?

Lindsay Lohan might very well be acting out scenes of I Know Who Killed Me for an audience of prison inmates before too long, so any talk of her starring in a movie should be met with extreme skepticism. Her people tried to push the idea of her playing Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman movie, but obviously that didn't pan out. Heck, she couldn't even hold on a biopic about Linda Lovelace. Can you think of a role that would've been more perfect? Yeah, me neither.  But all might not be finished for the former Mean Girl, as EW reports a rumor that Lohan could be up to play another tragic figure.

Photographer Tyler Shields says that he's looking at Lohan to play Sharon Tate in his upcoming film, Eyes of a Dreamer.  Tate was a rising star in Hollywood, having starred in Valley of the Dolls for which she won a Golden Globe. She was married to director Roman Polanski, and was pregnant with his child when she was tragically murdered by members of the Manson Family in 1969.  The film would primarily be about Manson.

Shields, who happens to be a close friend of Lohan's, says it all depends on how Lohan's upcoming trial turns out. As for the film itself, Shields wants shooting to begin in July, but nothing seems to be totally worked out yet. He says he wants to shoot the murders as graphically and real as possible, so those with weak stomachs may want to hang back on this one. 

Have you noticed a pattern in the types of roles Lohan is getting offered lately? They're either drug addicts, porn stars, or in this case someone remembered primarily for the horrific way she died. It's like she's just being exploited for her roller coaster public persona. Not the best way to make a comeback.
