As if to shut me up about Lohan only being offered the trashiest of trashy roles, Radaronline insists that Lohan continues to be up for...well, something in Zack Snyder's Superman film. She had been rumored to be a surprising contender for a "major role", assumed to be Lois Lane. That one ultimately went to Amy Adams, but is it possible the role is actually that of Ursa? The evil Kryptonian who has been rumored to be appearing in the film? The report states that producers are now looking at Lohan to play a villain, so your guess is as good as mine.
Lohan's court date could be the deciding factor. Shooting is set to begin in August, when the actress might be trading cigarettes for her life behind bars.
Her fate might be tied in with that of another young actor trying to break into the tentpole superhero flick, as it's being reported that Lohan is scheduled to screen test with little known actor, Adam Harris. Harris bears a striking resemblance to Lex Luthor, and it's said that he might be a contender to play Superman's archnemesis. Supposedly he's auditioned multiple times, so producers must be liking what they're seeing. The fact that he's reading with Lohan likely means the two would be frequent on screen partners.
I still don't think for a second that Warner Brothers(or their insurance folks) would risk their time or many on a head case like Lohan, but stranger things have happened. If she's going to make a recovery of her career, somebody's got to give her a real shot. I don't know squat about Harris, so again I'll be surprised if they don't go with someone more established. Then again, Henry Cavill is Superman, and nobody knew who he was a month ago.
