Watch four minutes from Green Lantern right now!

WonderCon is going on right now, with one of the highlights being Warner Brothers presentation of 10 minutes from Green Lantern.  While the marketing for the film has been practicaly non-existent lately, that's all about to change now, I think. WB is so hyped over the film and the reaction the footage is getting that four minutes of it has now been released for all of us to see. Check it out below...

Perhaps I should start rethinking my complaints about the footage we've seen, which has looked mostly rushed and incomplete. This footage has got me very excited to see the end product. I love the scene of Hal Jordan reciting the oath, with the energy of his power battery slowly changing his eye color. Mark Strong as Sinestro is charismatic, but a bit dubious as well. And anytime you can get the entire Green Lantern Corps gathered in one place, it's going to be cool. I would've like to have seen more of the ring's process in selecting Hal Jordan, but why spoil everything? I have a feeling that scene will be one of the film's coolest moments.

Green Lantern is due out in theaters on June 17th. Martin Campbell is the director. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Jay O. Sanders, Geoffrey Rush, Temuera Morrison, Taika Waititi, Jon Tenney, Angela Bassett and Tim Robbins.
