It's been a busy day for first looks, hasn't it? The next one comes from a lucky fan who snapped up some shots of the filming of
The Amazing Spider-Man, and got this image featuring Rhys Ifans and Andre Garfield in their roles as Dr. Curt Connors and Peter Parker. Connors is destined to transform into his alter ego, The Lizard, at some point, and if you look closely at this shot you can see him wearing a green covering over his hand, which means director Marc Webb and company will be doing some work on that area.
Connors lost his arm during his time as a war surgeon, and developed a serum made out of reptile DNA which allowed him to regrow the limb. So he spends a good deal of time walking around with one arm, which is probably why Ifans is wearing the covering. It'll be made to look as if he has no hand.
