The Muppets teaser poster

If you ever wanted to see Ms. Piggy walking around in high heels(sicko!!) then today is your lucky day. A reader over at Aint It Cool News caught a glimpse of the first poster for The Muppets, which features the Jim Henson creations walking around? I mean we get to see them from top to bottom, from head to toe. How often has that ever happened? Has it ever happened? I don't think so. Not since Muppet Babies, anyway. And really, now that they're older the dudes really need some pants.

Other than that this is a pretty inoffensive image. It doesn't show a heck of a lot, which is odd considering the bulk of celebrity talent involved. I think back to those great posters for the old flicks like The Muppets Take Manhattan and the big name guest stars are all over them. Why be so bland here? Check it out below...

Jason Segel wrote(along with Nicholas Stoller) and stars, alongside Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, and Rashida Jones. The number of guest stars is ridiculous, featuring: Lady Gaga, Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopie Goldberg, Ben Stiller, Billy Crystal, Jack Black, Danny Trejo, and that's not even the half of it. James Bobin directs.

 PLOT
On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With secret, signature, celebrity cameos, “The Muppets” hits the big screen Nov. 23, 2011.
