The Collector was a creepy horror flick that I thought people overlooked a couple of years ago. I like the idea of a home invader looking to steal a few items basically getting upstaged when an even more vicious criminal has designs on the home as well. Now the best part of that film, lead actor Josh Stewart, is going to be popping up in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.
Variety has the news, and of course we have no clue what Stewart's role will be, but I'm guessing it won't be all that big. The film is currently shooting with a planned release date of July 20th 2012.
His joining probably rounds out the cast, which is already huge and damned impressive. Along with the returning Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine are newcomers Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Tom Conti, Joey King, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Pence, Juno Temple, Matthew Modine, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Daniel Sunjata, Diego Klattenhoff and Burn Gorman.
