Screen Gems has released a new red band trailer for their quirky indie alien invasion flick, Attack the Block. The film has received nothing but universal praise ever since it premiered in the UK and at SXSW, but let's be honest in saying that it's got an uphill battle to find success here. Written and directed by Joe Cornish, the film is about a group of South London street toughs who must defend themselves when an alien invasion hits their neighborhood. Casting wise there isn't much to speak of, with only Nick Frost(Shaun of the Dead) as a recognizable face.
I'm only a few days away from seeing the film, so I'm stayin far away from this trailer which I'm hearing gives away some crucial plot points. It's due to open here on July 29th, so if you can't wait that long check out the trailer below, which I'm guessing isn't safe for work....
