Seth Rogen, Jonathan Levine, Evan Goldberg, Will Reiser re-team for road trip comedy, Jamaica

50/50 might be the funniest movie about a deadly disease you'll see all year. Starring Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the film follows Levitt's character as he copes with being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. His character is based on writer and cancer survivor Will Reiser, with Jonathan Levine(The Wackness) directing, and Evan Goldberg(Superbad) producing.  That's a heavy hitting foursome, and apparently they've all had a lot of fun working together on 50/50 because their next flick is already in the works.

They'll team up on the road trip comedy, Jamaica, which like 50/50 will draw on Reiser's real life experience. The story will center around a trip Reiser took to Jamaica with his grandmother. Mandate Pictures have this one on the fast track, which means we'll probably see it some time next year. Levine will direct and co-write along with Reiser. Rogen and Goldberg appear to just be producing at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised if he appears in front of the camera in some capacity.

As for 50/50, it's not coming out until September 30th, but we'll be handing out passes to a screening of the film next week, so please keep your eyes here for that. In the meanwhile, check out the trailer...
