The newest trailer for In Time muddies the waters a little bit. The footage we were treated to a few days ago makes the world Andrew Niccol(Gattaca
) has created much clearer, but key points are left out this time. Instead what we get are a bunch of random action scenes with Justin Timberlake, and snippets of dialogue that amount to nothing. That's kindof a shame because it's the premise that will draw people in. In Time takes place in a world where the aging gene has been eliminated. Nobody ages past 25, but in order to live past it longer than a year you must buy additional years. That means the rich can basically live forever, while the poor must fight and hustle for it. Timberlake plays a regular guy who is forced to go on the run when he's accused of murder soon after he inherits a big chunk of time. Amanda Seyfried is the hostage he takes along for insurance. Olivia Wilde's in it, but that shouldn't' surprise you since she's in everything. Check out the new trailer below....
