Trailer Time: Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings

Hard to believe this is the fourth film in the hillbilly cannibal franchise, Wrong Turn. The first one back in 2003 was actually pretty solid, featuring three of my all-time favorite screen chicks: a super tough Eliza Dushku, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and the crimson haired beauty, Lindy Booth(Cry Wolf). The next two films in the series? Um, not so good. In fact they're unwatchable. Whether or not this one is any better remains to be seen, but at least by the look of this new trailer the production values appear to be a notch better.

This one's titled Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, and is obviously a prequel. A bunch of snowmobiling buddies get lost in a storm and make the bone headed move of seeking shelter in a seemingly abandoned sanatorium, where a family of cannibals still live. Declan O'Brien is at the helm for this one, and if it manages to be any dumber than his last film, the SyFy original Sharktopus, then we're all in trouble. Check out the trailer below, and look for Wrong Turn 4 when it goes straight to DVD on October 25th.
