1st look at Rihanna in Battleship

In case you didn't know, R&B singer Rihanna makes her feature acting debut in the Peter Berg directed alien invasion film, Battleship. The trailer we got last week, which admittedly I didn't care much for, didn't spotlight her at all, but now we have our first glimpse at her wielding a big ol' cannon. I'd duck behind the nearest wall if I were you, Chris Brown.

Battleship is based, pretty much in name only, on the board game we all cheated at when we were kids. Y'know, the one where you guess the location of your enemy's ships and place pegs in those spots. Those silly pegs pop up briefly in the trailer, but basically it was little more than random gunfire, and Taylor Kitsch's character trying to hook up with Brooklyn Decker.

Battlship stars Kitsch, Decker, Liam Neeson, Josh Pence, Alexander Skarsgard, and Peter MacNicol. It's due to hit theaters on May 18th 2012.
